Another Hatter’s Premature Punchline show

Well, another Premature Punchline show has taken a bow! Or a spill, as seen above. As part of the downtown Kingsville “Sip & Shop” event, Hatters Beverage Company hosted a PrePunch improv comedy show in a slightly different format! Instead of our usual set of games, the audience “ordered” a “drink” (our renamed improv games) and then we performed two rounds of the game.

Performing that night featured our newbie Liz Pedraza (shown above frozen in “Frozen Latte” with Michael), hosted by Julio Martinez, and long-time performers Cricket, Aubrey Gracia, Katherine Orozco-Verderber, Ray Martinez, Daniel Rodriguez, and Diego Trevino. We even had one audience volunteer Jayden Morales hop on stage and do a round of “French Press Conference”!

Coming up in Zero Untitled action

We have a slew of different things happening over the next few months including: HoRrOR theatre, hilarious improv comedy, wEiRd puppetry, short films, and more! So, we will be having some outdoor rehearsals this coming week in an effort to get more folks involved!

The outdoor rehearsal schedule will be 7:00 pm:
Aug 20th – near Javelina Dining Hall
Aug 21st – near Mesquite Village West

If any of the above interest you, come watch OR participate! Then let’s not forget the improv comedy show by Premature Punchline on the 28th at Hatters Beverage Company (all ages).

This week in ZU action!

We are in the middle of a busy month for ZU! We just wrapped three performances of “Attempting Bunraku”, our interactive Japanese puppetry show! Next, we have some outdoor rehearsals to get outside and prepare for the upcoming Premature Punchline show at Hatter’s Beverage Company in downtown Kingsville. That show will happen starting at 6 until the “Sip & SHop” event ends on August 28th!

And there is a quick shot of our performance on the news! Click here: ‘World Elephant Day’ event brings fun and learning
