As part of the Texas State Museum of Asian Culture and Education Center’s Halloween Party, Premature Punchline will be making a comedic appearance. At press, we will be adjusting some of our games into more Halloween-centric themes. See you at the Halloween event on October 24th; it runs from noon to 5:00 and we perform off-and-on from 1-4.

Our second teaser, conceptualized by Daniel Rodriguez, is up and shows a classic Corpus Christi before SOMETHING happens to the city. This should hint at what our November immersive Dark Tour “Her Dark Blessing” will be about!

Here are some pics from our recent Sept 24th and 26th shows in Kingsville and Corpus! The 24th show featured newbies Joey and Delilah, the latter whom returned for the 26th show as well. The Corpus show was at our favorite venue, the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures, and the Kingsville show was in a classroom at the TAMUK campus.

As part of our ongoing “Zero Practice” series, actors are given a brand-new script of a play they are completely unfamiliar with and are expected to perform the play live on-the-spot in front of an audience.

And here is the SECOND performance (in less than 24 hours) with Dawn Robertson as our “blind” actress chosen. Gabe reprised his role and Julio took over as both actors were familiar with the show from the previous night’s performance.

Stop complaining that there is nothing in town to do when we have ANOTHER fantastic evening of open mic madness at Hatters Beverage Company via our Textual Overture branch! Expect poetry, live music, short plays, and YOU, on the stage! This is a FREE performance, but the venue would appreciate drink purchases.

Our resident improv comedy troupe, Premature Punchline, will be making their grand return to the Texas State Museum of Asian Cultures and Education Center for World Elephant Day on August 8th! Like previous museum-event productions, we will be staging multiple mini-shows starting at noon until 2:30 with short breaks in between to give museum-goers the opportunity to see the other events happening at the museum.
