Zero Untitled will be having a CALL FOR PLAYS for our upcoming Christmas show in December. The event, called TEXTUAL OVERTURE, will feature live music, poems, and YOUR plays with a holiday theme in mind. The event will be staged at a restaurant/bar venue in Texas and possibly New York City.

The show has been officially named “Textual Ho Ho Hoverture” and the performance will occur at Cafe 5 on December 16th, 2017.

Submission Guidelines:

• 5-10 minute plays
• 1-3 characters (monologues are acceptable)
• Simple light and sound demands
• Must have a Christmas or “Holidays” theme (scripts not fitting this category will be considered for future productions)
• 12-point Times New Roman ONLY
• Include short BIO information in your cover letter
• Email headline MUST read “Holiday Submission: __(name of your play)___”
• Deadline: December 3^rd
• Performance: mid-December, venues TBA
• NO Submission fee
• Only reading first 100 plays submitted
• Playwrights may submit no more than 2 plays
• NO musicals (sorry)

 Zero Untitled Productions and Bards Against Hunger have banded together to create an anthology of poetry called “Rising Rains” to help benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey. Poetry (no plays, sorry) can currently be submitted to the following site. Although Texas poets take initial priority, all poets are welcome to submit.

Equity Library Theatre’s win announcement

K. Orozco-Verderber in “Unending Repetition”

Here is a teaser photo of Katherine Orozco-Verderber as “Orion” in our new Main Stage production “Unending Repetition” premiering in New York City in collaboration with the Equity Library Theatre. The play, written and directed by Michael Verderber, will have a one-time performance on August 19th in New York while a Texas performance will be scheduled for the future. Dramaturgy and co-direction by Julio Martinez and a score by Robert Trujillo.
